Dominion Arms

I thought you might like that little tidbit....:D

It's basically Norinco without the Made in China and Norinco stamped on the side..... Good value for the most part with a few rough edges but not for everyone.... Don't by the new Stevens Security Pumps either! They are super nice for the most part ( handle one first) and have great ghost ring sights and are a clone of the Ithaca 37 but with dual action bars! But they are also made in China so if that is an issue best to look elsewhere.

China.

I wouldn't be too quick to write them off soley on that though.
The late model Remmy expresses are pitiful in fit/finish and tolerance.......the last Norinco and Dominion I bought were superior from my observations and handling/shooting of them to a late model Remmy express.

If the "made in China" thing is a moral prob for ya that's a different matter entirely.

I recently bought a stevens pump and it feels to be made of much better quality than the new Remington 870 expresses and loose and light mossberg 500's. IMHO you need to either spend $600+ on a Remington Police or Marine model or that amount on a 590 series Mossberg to get comparable quality. The Stevens has awesome sights, dual extractor bars, all steel receiver, a stock that's more solid than the mossy's(not sure about the remingtons). And has less kick, due to the heavy duty build. Made in China means F all when it comes to this gun. Savage wouldn't keep them being made there if they weren't doing a good job.

When I was in the market for a tactical/defense gun I looked over and over my options. I settled on the Benelli Supernova tactical as being by far the best 12g under $800. But for how much use it`ll get and no real need to shoot 3 1/2" shells I couldn't bring myself to purchasing a beautiful Benelli. Then came the Remington 870 police and marine models, and finally 590a and 590 mariner models from mossberg. But for half the price of these I honestly felt the Steven's was the way to go. I wouldn't even trade it for the gimicky 500's or junky 870 expresses that are out there.

Those Stevens are a hell of a deal and the one I handledwas good to go with great sights!

I've heard some of them can have minor Chinese style quality control deficiencies so it's best to handle one in the store and make sure everything is straight!

Ive enjoyed many Chinese firearms. Seems like theyre trying very hard to win in our western markets. I tell everyone getting into a new type/ class to start with cheapies and go from there, if they find it is their thing.

Thanx. Colt

I have several Chinese firearms all function great, maybe I have been lucky, not so lucky with some US firearms. If you have moral issue with made in China thats fine. For me I could not give a rats ass if its made in Canada, USA or China just as long as it functions properly and it is priced right.
