How do people like these? I picked up one of the 14 inchers for the 870. Sure looks good. I had wanted the bead sight, but bought the post/ring sight (thats all that was left) and gotta say I really like the sight picture with just the front sight. Shoots right on target.
 
I’ve always liked my 12.5” Grizzly barrel, when it was still just an open cylinder it shot slugs accurately and had pretty decent buck and birdshot patterns out to 20-25y. It’s even better since I had it threaded for chokes and cut down the front post and added a bead, I’m not using the ghost rings anymore as I swap it from Grizzly to 870 as I need.

I had also considered cutting off the post, but I think I like it. My 14 is threaded, I guess they changed that somewhere along the line.
 
I have the rifle sight on all three of my 12.5" DA barrels.
I recommend a small touch of white paint on the tiny indented dot on the sight. It really solidifies target acquisition having that white dot there.
