Donimion Ammo In SKS

.814" @ 35 yards, you subtracted .312 twice ;)

...so i did! ...thanks for pointing that out :)

...yeah 2 methods of measuring groups, one is from centre to centre and the other outside to outside and subtract the diametre of your bullet ...i always get corrected by practitioners of the other method! ;)

...i'm still happy for a first firing with commercial ammo!!! :)

I've always maintained that if you can hit a dinner plate at 100 yards, you can nail centre of mass in your target.

Exactly. Couple of days ago, I printed a group I could cover with my thumb at 50 yards. More than good enough to put meat on the table.

I forgot to say nice shooting, and I too would be very happy with results like that the first time out.

Looks like you have gotten lucky and found a round that your gun likes, if I were you I would buy a few more cases.

It ends up being the same thing, by subracting 1 bullet diameter from outside-outside = 1/2 bullet diameter from each outside = centre-centre. It all comes down to deciding if you want to do a little math or if you prefer estimating where the centre of the bullet hole is.
