The things we get to see at work. SPAS-12 sadly coming in to be deactivated :(

Absolutely no reason for this thing to be prohibited....

Unfortunately , expect to see lots more firearms to be coming in for deactivation as Boy Blunder Trudeau tightens his noose around the necks of firearms owners ; the Liberal agenda is a gun free Canada , and they will pursue that agenda to the end whenever they get a chance . Get involved with the CPC , and let the voices of Canadian Firearm Owners be heard !

The problem there is that your cpc is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Liberal party. Liberals implement the ideology. Cons support and normalize it during their occasional turn in power.

Harper <spit> won his first minority in a country that opposed the firearms act as a waste of money that targeted law abiding citizens instead of criminals. By the time he lost his majority even most gun owners wanted to keep the firearms act in place.

If only the government would store all of the guns to be destroyed.

Then rewrite the FA to make them legal again.

Sell them to licenced people (thereby keeping them out of the hands of criminals)

And pay down the national debt.

They do look cool - try using one. Not at all cool, frankly one of the worst shotguns made from the user's perspective.

Oh I totally agree. They are heavy, cumbersome and prone to breakage.

But I still want one to go hunt Velociraptors :p

Interesting that there's even this one - and proof of what happens when guns get prohibited. Those weren't grandfathered if I remember correctly, they were turn in and destroy, like the Feather AT9 and those horrible helical mag guns. It seems they only destroyed oddballs.

I wish I had the serial number of the SPAS I owned in the '90's. Mine had the same kind of folder instead of the hook. It ran like a top in semi auto mode and cycled the the cheapest ammo every time (unlike a few of the semi's a friend has owned in the last few years)

Those are like, $10k US now :p Your work got it in? Where do you work?

There is a Pump Only SPAS, looks like a typical SG, with the same folding stock. .. model PA8 I think? Used to see those around. Are those prohib too?

K *EDIT- I just found this:

I remember seeing about 30-40 of those laid out at Wilke's gun shop. I found it interesting they all had Isreali proof/acceptance marks, as did many of the fun stuff he was bringing in
