Had some time on nights this set. Decided to tinker with my bolts. I'm not a machinist, but have pretended a few times. Very happy with the results! The bolts are now threaded to 5/16-24, so I can keep making new knobs till I find the one I like the most. Im using 316 stainless. Not sure if the weight will be a problem?

Sweet caliper.

I've got a cheap Mastercraft one I use at work (accuracy isn't paramount) and recently picked up an older Mitutoyo dial caliper. Well, let's just say those cheapy calipers aren't all the accurate.

My only gripe with that particular caliper is it doesn't shut off automatically. I end up using my starrett one because it does shut off automatically. I haven't unpacked it yet though.

Sweet!! I like the second one personally. The knurled version would be good in colder, glove wearing weather. Looks fantastic though.

cheers,

A few 1/5 scale RC cars. I don't have time to fully immerse myself in both hobbies, so they are currently on the back burner. They're right around the same price as guns if you do it right. Tons of fun if you like to tinker!

Hahaha, I thought they were full size, life size trucks. I thought, jeez, those are nice.
