Many times I will see posts of guys finding some old shotgun ammo and are quite suprised when they are told it is basically worthless so shoot it off but keep the old box since they are worth money.
Well here is an example. A few months ago I watched a set of old winchester boxes sell for 1500.00 US. Now the exact same set is listed only in not as good of shape and missing the 410 and he wants 2000. Crazy ?? maybe but he turned down an offer of 1500 so far. So don't toss any vintage boxes they could be worth some serious cash since there are some big time collectors out there
From the listing
This is an original set of EMPTY Winchester Ranger "Dog" shot shell boxes. The entire series is for sale including the 10, 12, 16, 20 and 28 gauge boxes. I will not split up the series to sell the boxes individually. The price on the series is $2000 OBO.
