So i'm looking to upgrade (next season) my uncle mikes pouches for something a little better. Which is better and why? Double alpha or cr versa? I'm shooting productuon (shadow) if that makes a difference.

As far as I can tell those are the main contenders, are there any other options I don't know about that i should be looking into?

just cuz pictures are always better:

I would pick the CR over the other set. Another option would be the guga Ribas,...or the new aluminum DAA pouches.

I just got a set of of the new DAA aluminum mag pouches and love them, i had the older style in your photo and they worked great also but i do much prefer the new ones as they are not plastic... way more rock solid, great adjustments and change over...

DAA aluminum ones if you can afford it. Bladtech singles on Teklocks if you're on a budget.

i was on a budget before so I gave a leather one that holds 4 mags and an uncle mikes dual one. they work just fine, but i plan to beshooting for a loong time so i figure it's time to start buying quality and then i don't have to keep buying stuff.

And I did mean the DAA aluminum ones not the plastic ones, i just put up the wrong picture lol.

As a production shooter am I really going to use all the adjustments the DAA has to offer? I can't see myself moving to Open for a very long time so production or standard are all i see myself shooting in.

the adjustments are very nice to have on the DAA ones, I love mine, do Standard and Production guys need that level of adjustment? probably not, but I've noticed some people really like to have harsh angles on their pouches and this allows for that. so if you have the money you can't do any better than the new DAA.
