I have a double barrel shotgun that I want to mount a tactical light to. I have and have seen several mounts that simply clamp onto one barrel so the light sticks out to the side. I am looking for a mount that attaches the light under the barrels.

Any suggestions aside from using a roll of hockey tape would be appreciated!

It might look like a "ghetto mod", but you could use a hose clamp (I've seen pictures of Afghan soldiers using them to mount flashlights to their AKs).

Otherwise you could use a short (1.5", 3-slot) piece of Picatinny rail and screw it under your forend, then mount the light using a scope ring. Low-profile, and easy to attach or remove the light. I've done this with my Ruger 10/22, and it works well.
