What a sad demise for a fine revolver!!! I am super anal about loading small charges of fast buning powders in my pistol chamberings, since a double charge is difficult to notice. I have been favoring bulky powders lately as well, since a visual check establishes immediately any problem. I saw a very nice pre-64 M70 Winchester in 300 H&H destroyed by a double charged lead bullet "grouse" load, using fast burning powder. Regards, Eagleye.
