Double flint shotgun

Anyone shoot a double flint shotgun, I have a line on a nice custom one and was wondering if anyone had any experience with one good or bad.

I haven't used one, but if it is slender and beautiful and fits you well, grab it quick before someone else does. If it is chunky around the wrist and lock area you won't regrete leaving it behind.

I've shot a few. If it has good quality locks and points well for you they are a true joy to shoot.

If the locks have issues it will drive you around the bend trying to shoot wondering if it will go off every time. Not good for concentration at all.

X2 Nice shotgun ,I like the lines , looks well balanced. If it has good locks I would buy it.

The one pictured is not the one I m getting it is an example of one the maker
has done.Mine will 16ga ,have Clark locks that will be inletted tapered toward the wrist for a thinner wrist, 28inch barrel and will regulated to shoot round ball as well as shot

Shure you can, just need a oiled cows knee to cover the locks.

I have shot my longland bess after it "and I" was rained on all day, it can be done....its just a bit more finniky.
