I have a machining job for a gunsmith, to mill down the 1/4 rib on my 7x57 barrels, so that the rail mount fit correctly, see image, the (9.3x74) barrels have a recess cut into the rib.
with the rail sitting up, I can not use the irons sights.
I would also like both rails, drilled and taped for a skinner sight, (low pro)
And if anything can be done with Fairs Foolish rear sight, ?
Any recommendations for an Alberta or close by gun smith/machinist, for this type off work,
