Just watched this movie on TV. Towards the end Bond uses a classic double-rifle to defend against a hoard of villains. You don't get a clear view, but the muzzles show at one point (clearly not a shotgun), also the ejection of a long brass case.
Just for fun, does anyone know what make of rifle this is, also the calibre?
BTW, the screen-play around the use of this classic double is very poor... I could write a better one! I'd have the power of the large bore round taking out an engine block or a helicopter tail rotor, with a couple of reloads to add interest. IIRC, Bond just shoots a couple of bad guys with it and then it disappears from the action. The rest is fake explosions, etc...gasoline, not HE - you can tell by the slow flame fronts and no shock waves... but that's another rant!
Happy New Year!
Cheers,
Roger
