Downgrade a Rem. 700 BDL to ADL, what is needed ?

I have a new take off ADL stock and a complete rifle with a beat up BDL stock.

What is involved and needed to convert the BDL to an ADL ?

Trigger guard and middle screw. The mag box is different on an adl and you will need that. There is also a tiny screw to hold the mag box on the action you will need.

As with all 700s, make sure the mag box free floats in the mag box area. If it's too long it will bind the action when the action screws are tightened. This may break the stock and will cause a stress in the action affecting accuracy.
