Got a line on a 7.62x54R DP-28 / DPM dewat and want to hear from the Red Rifle experts and machine gun collectors what it could be worth. Don't really know much about machine guns as collectibles; I'd say the condition is fair to good, if I remember correctly it had a 1944 date stamp, and appeared to be complete with bipod and flat-pan magazine. Any info is appriciated.

not really CS had about 30 of them and they all sold just like they had hundreds of the Maxims now they only have I think 1 skid left if that .

Military Gun Supply sells semi-auto version made from the pieces of receivers by Wise Lite Arms in the States. I bought one, did all the paperwork in Canada and the State Dept did not let me to export it to Canada. The ticket was around US$2700 with the optional accessories. But dewat... thanks, but no, thanks!

Mine was # 001 and some American re-enactor has it now.

Despite all the "whaaa....if it dont work i dont want it"....Dewatts will continue to rise in value assuming the jack-offs in ottawa dont out law them

If its a CS gun it will have a moving action and removable mag

I paid (I think) 750 for mine and am quite happy with a gun the CFO doesnt know about
