If I was to set up a Groupbuy for DragBags who would want one

the cost would be around $250(retail is $350ish) cost would go up a bit more for Didji stuff

we need to buy 20 of them to make this go

Interested, but please list Practical uses of this unit, pros and cons, as I 'm not real familiar with them, other than their intended use for military folks.

Drag bags are great "soft cases" when you don't want to lug around a Pelican 1750 Travel Vault!!!:p

Drag Bags , for the most part have the following features:

-Secure tie down straps for your rifle (Velcro or Fastex Buckles)
-Hide away backpack straps so you can carry the dragbag on your back like a pack.
-Drag handle for dragging through the bush.
-several medium to large compartments for storing ammo, spotting scope, range finders, etc.

I can pack all the gear I need for a Sniper match in my Dragbag. This lets me carry everything in one neat package on my back.:D
-Regular type carry handles
-They can also double as a shooting mat.
-Usually made from heavy Cordura Nylon or Milspec #10 canvas.

I don't really see any "Cons" to them............

I don't think you'll get too many people committing $250 with an answer like that based on your word alone.

I'd be interested if more concrete information was available.

See ask the right questions , always works :D thanks SKBY , excellent review:cool:

If you plan on ones that fold down in three sections and have a rubberized portion like the Eagle bags, I'd be up for one (I'd prefer Multi-cam).

I have 2 Tac-Force Drag Bags, one for my .50BMG and one for our .30's. If you hit the field a Drag bag is the only way to go, plus they give you a shooting mat when the ground isnt the best. I use them regularly and swear by them. If you havent got one buy 2. All the one's listed are quality bags and have my vote.
