It's not on the list of prohibited ammunition so it should not be prohibited. The only prohibited shotgun ammo is this:

Any cartridge that is capable of being discharged from a shotgun and that contains projectiles known as “fléchettes” or any similar projectiles.

I'm a great believer that wanting something just because it's cool is a perfectly valid reason.

However, dragon's breath is pretty scary in use. Short of using it to demolish ice huts on the still frozen lake..........................

When I took the CFSC they specifically told me that Dragon's Breath ammunition is legal, although I have yet to have seen it for sale anywhere.

if you live in a bigger city with a magic shop, load some powder up and let us know if it works. i only load rifle cartridges, and as far as i know, no magic shops near here.

Definitely cool. Unless I was in a quarry or sand pit, I think I'd want the fire department on site................just in case. LOL!

I don't think you'd have too much luck finding a public range that would allow/authorize its use - similar to tracer rounds.
