Thinking of going to this show for the first time but not a fan of long drives (6 hour round trip, apparently). Is this worth going to for someone who's strictly interested in milsurps? Appreciate any comments from regular attendees of this event. Thanks,

Never been to the Drayton show, but isn't the Calgary one supposed to be the best one out of all of them for finding old stuff? All the small shows like this I find have very little by way of milsurp guns, but a high demand for milsurps. Average sightings will be mosins, yugo m98's, lee enfields and maybe the odd RC k98. But yet these draw lots of attention, and you are more likely than not to see it being carried out in the hands of someone rather than still be sitting on a table.

But I still keep going to all of them that I can, hoping something interesting will be found!

Nice local show, but a long drive for a lot of us, gonna be a bunch of closer ones coming up, including Red Deer. shortest route from Calgary would be up H 22, can't see 6 hours .

some of the northern shows have an exhibiter or two that don't venture south at all so you will see some merchandise you won't see at Cal or Red Deer. And yes it is very close to 3 hrs each way.
