Do you really think this gun...or any M14, for that matter...can utilize a scope that powerful? I've had a few M14's (Norcs), never really fell in love with 'em (although I'm starting to feel that way about my current Dominion Socom version), but I've never produced the kind of accuracy that calls for a 6-24x scope. More to the point, I've never seen anyone else produce that level of accuracy, even here on CGN where everyone is a world-class sniper

Honestly, the weight and bulk of a scope like that is a PITA. Why tolerate it when your results probably won't be any better than those you'd get with a smaller, lighter scope? Not to mention the fact that a scope-smasher like the M14 will "have its way" with a heavy scope much more destructively than with a lighter one. The scope on H2O MAN's gun seems much more appropriate and well-balanced.
Not trying to be argumentative here, but asking a legitimate question.
