I'm seriously considering getting one of the $129 870 clones (or I might pick up an 870) and dressing it up to the gawdiest, most horrible, corniest-looking tacticool shotgun you've ever seen. You know the case where if I took this out to the range or hunting, people would run for cover. I mean something that the Terminator would find far-fetched. Any tips as to how I should go about this? Stock, rails, bayonet, lights/lasers/ACOG, etc.?

Hahaha, I agree with ABCZAR: Mossberg Chainsaw. If you need any more help, look up the Mall Ninja. And yes, you may get flamed for this thread... =P

If you really want a god-awful tacticool shotgun, then get one of those massive 6VDC 1,000,000 candlepower spotlights and duct-tape it to the front, put six different laser pointers around the barrel (make sure they have different shapes and all point in different directions), throw on a scope AND a red dot reflex sight AND ghost rings AND a bead, and cover all the remaining real estate with shell holders and rails. And make sure it's all Bubba'd on with duct-tape and hose clamps.

If you're being facetious, then get a decent barrel clamp, put on a light and laser of your choice (make sure it has elevation/windage adjustment), mount a rail and/or ghost rings, a shellholder, and a stock/forend of your liking. Your choices are just about limitless. And yes, as mentioned above, you need the slightly fancier Norc (I believe it's the 780, but don't quote me) or the DA Grizzly to be able to use 870 parts.

Hope that helps... ;)
