Drill-tap/scout scope mounts + Front Sight Assembly

I'm looking for a scope mount that will retain zero after cleaning; as I understand it only the above types can do that for the SKS (not all scout scope mounts will retain 0 after dissassembly, but some I've heard will).

I'm just wondering where's a good place to buy this?

I'm also looking for a place to buy the whole front sight assembly with the housing+post+seat, marstar doesn't seem to list the housing.

I emailed scout scopes, and they don't ship to Canada. They referred me to marstar, I guess they're the official Canadian distributer.

Marstar sells for $99.95, almost double what scoutscopes.com charges. I'm thinking to get one from scout scopes shipped to a Niagara falls postal outlet, and then drive across the border and pick it up.
 
I have seen a few SKS's sporting drilled and tapped original receiver covers, with weaver scope mounts put on...at least you know that will fit the rifle.

I thought that SIR or Wholesale had a B-Square drill/tap mount. Dont get the reciever cover d&t'd as it will no hold zero, it is way too wobbley. Sent one of my sks to get the reciever mount installed and the gunsmith put a weaver mount on the dust cover.....Anyhoo, it did not work so well.
 
Or maybe get a Molot rail from Kalinka, and a lever side mount. The Molot is made so that you don't have to notch your stock to mount the side rail base onto the SKS.
 
I talked to p&d, they said the US state department have banned all exports of SKS accessories. Anyone know anything about this?

I'm not sure - could be true. If you order from Eastwave.ca or Kalinka.com they both ship from the same place in Russia. Ships directly to Canada.

thanks, I actually did check out Kalinka, and they do ship to Canada.

But I'm a little confused on the side rail and side mount lol...

Which is for what?
