Drops of Lead In Magazin?

I mean the housing is definitely salvageable. The magazine might not.

Going have to grind away the weld, till the magazine. The harden welds going to be super hard to drill, let alone straight and without it jumping around.
 
Internet says a H&R 65 mag can be used

picked up a magazine on ebay that was advertised as fitting a TOZ 17. When I got it, I looked at it and thought this looks just like a short H&R 65 magazine. Sure enough it fit and functioned. H&R 65, 165, 150, etc are known to be able to use Marlin 56/89C mags. So those should fit the TOZ. The problem is that I don't have my TOZ 17 with me (I'm a snow-bird) so can't verify for sure that the mag I bought on Ebay is truly a TOZ 17 mag.
