Drum mag for Type 81

We recently tested our AK47 drum mags and they fit and function in the Type 81 LMG and Type 81 rifle
These drums are 75 rounds pinned to 5 with rivet.

The standard AK47 mags do not fit the type 81 without modifications to the mag. Our gunsmith has figured out how to modify them to fit, it takes about 10-15 minutes per mag to modify them.
If there is enough demand for them we may consider modifying a batch for the type 81.

They used to have a steel rear cover but the manufacturers changed the design. We are hoping to get the all steel ones again when they are available.

When modified to work in the Type 81, do the mags still work in firearms that use unmodified AK pattern magazines?
 
Would like to see some of the all steel Romanian style drums like the Century Arms brand(not sure if they make them or not).

ETA: The Romanian drums should work without modification.
