Since we dont have magazine limitations for our rimfires in Canada,
what do you think the chances are of seeing beta C-Mags and drum mags for the Colt M4 22lr, swith and wesson Mp15-22 and sig sauer 522lr rifles?

i have heard of the 500 round Brick mag supposedly coming out for the 10/22

i wonder if they will be releasing the Colt or Sig in 17 HMR as well?.....
i can only hope.

Depends on the market up here. I just don't know. Maybe one of the dealer sponsors would chime in with their opinion??

That 500 round mag you mention would be pretty heavy when fully charged!!!:D

Fabsports was selling the Pro Mag but he was getting complaints about them not functioning very well so he stopped selling them. That seams to be a common theme about drum mags at the moment. I really would like a functioning drum mag for my Thompson kit. It would be so excellent to slap in a 50 rnd drum and just let go with the Thompson.

"...500 round Brick mag..." You want to lug that around? Doubt you'll see 'em any time soon. Be horrendously expensive too.

A 500!!! round MAG?!?!?!

good lord and I thought all the Albertan shooters disliked the whole spray and pray type shooting???? You should really try aiming:D

I would hope for a belt fed conversion for the 10/22 first:D:D

Oh it's not for spray-and-pray. It's for the "I can't believe we have that many f*cking gophers !!"

why would you want an expensive ammo restricted rimfire? aren't the centerfire versions of those guns good enough for expensive ammo?

I heard the Colt M4 ops .22lr will be non restricted. and since rimfire has no mag capacity limits i thought a 100 round Beta C mag on a non restricted armalite would be awesome for shooting gophers. So if I could have a non restricted no mag capacity rifle that would be awesome. chambered in .17HMR would be cool as well.

the 500 round 10/22 mag I was talking about is a completely different topic. probably would be too heavy to lug around.

you're just not thinking- you set it up on a bipod or tripod from a fixed point, like you do in a BUNKER, with a machine gun- i've got a pic of one such emplacement where a set of field glasses, range finder, an m14, and a mag-58 are all set up in the same bunker in isreal- no reason you couldn't duplicate the same thing on the saskatchewan battlefields

Or mounted on a vehicle.......
