I have a Fabarm Martial Pro Forces 14" and I would like to do dry fire practice around home.

I intend to use dummy rounds for practicing reloading and malfunction clearing.

These are the dummy round I hope to use if they will ship to Canada...

My question is:

These are dummy rounds and do not have a soft contact spot for the firing pin. Will this be an issue with the Fabarm or are they safe to dry fire without snap caps?

Thanks

These are the Action Trainer dummy rounds. I bought a box of them for $1.50 each from Police Ordinance in the Toronto area. I'm not sure if they sell to the general public or not, you may have to be a military or LEO type. I've used mine a bit, and haven't had any issues with them. There's no need to spend $14 for 2 snap caps. These are much cheaper and do the job just fine. If they ever do wear out, they are cheap enough to replace and still be less expensive than snap caps.

Whereas 'sporting' shotguns (O/U or SxS) can have the trigger linkage damaged with dry firing, I would say most if not ALL mil/tac pump/auto shotguns are completely safe to dry fire.
