So here I was carrying out some deletions in the EE Forums as well as hunting down EE Forum violators with more than TWO posts per EE Forum...

During a lull in the 'Search' for violators, I began my dry firing drills with my OD Green Glock 17 at the light switch in the room. My wife walked in and said, "Let me feel that trigger..." ;)

She squeezed the trigger and then proceeded to rack the G17 in front of her abdomen, pistol close to her body , and parallel to stomach, just like her 1911 single stack 9mm (has a 16lb recoil spring).

I told her that with a Glock, one only has to bring the slide back 1/4" or so to #### the 'striker'. She replied, "That's a lot simpler than a factory mainspring hammer on my 1911." "This is much easier!"

You know what's coming next....

"You should get me one of these...", she says.

To be continued.....

BUt she is still going to have to rack it the entire way to chamber a round with live ammo.. so whats going to happen then?

Hungry here: Shhhh... Don't tell her....

excellent Hungry!
hoochie, he'll have spent the money already and she'll practice or feel bad that she wasted her man's money...besides after some time your fingers get stronger and its a breeze....all hungry has to do is keep motivating her on that, my gf struggled for about a week, and now she can rack it like a pro hoo ah! haha
listen to your fortune cookies when it comes to guns! :D

She's gonna realize the Glock was a complete waste of money and she'll be back to the superior 1911 in no time... and then hungry gets to keep the Glock.

Everybody wins.

Well, everybody except hungry... because then he's stuck with another glock.

Do you atleast get the ex-cf special glock pricing?

Hungry here: Is a bear Catholic? Does the Pope szht in the woods ? LOL ROTFLMAO. Yup, I did go to Jo Winkler at Police Ordnance. yuk yuk yuk

Make sure she buys a G22 or some caliber you don't have.

Hungry,,, as per my (Please post pic of G19 w/106mm barrel) post, my wife also approached me about buying her a G19!

And who the hell am I to argue! I think the only reasonable thing to do is to run out and buy her one!!

Good luck shopping.

Hungry,

Now that is a very nice story! Warms my heart. :)

The upside to this is you can come home with something nice for yourself when you get her a Glock and tell her "Aw but honey, they're HIS n' HERS! I can't take mine back!" :)
