I was going to send Dsiwy a private message, instead I decided it post this since I figured it may help out others as well.

Dsiwy, you seem to be the resident expert on the Benelli Supernova Tactical 14" so I figured you are the man to ask.

I was trying to disassemble my Benelli Supernova Tactical 14" but I ran into some problems. In the manual it shows how to remove the trigger assembly with the regular stock version. I tried doing what they showed but the trigger assembly would not come out. I figured it had something to do with the pistol grip.

I found a video online which showed an American take the butt pad off his stock and then use a ratchet to loosen the pistol grip. After he did this, he was able to remove the trigger assembly. The problem is, our stock is different, we have the telescoping stock on ours. I removed the stock itself, as shown in the manual but now I am not sure how to loosen the pistol grip. I am guessing you have to loosen something inside the telescoping stock tube? I just didn't want to go sticking random objects down there before I knew what I was dealing with.

Hopefully you can help me out.

Thanks

I may be thinking of another gun, and I'm certainly not Dsiwy but isn't the grip retained by a fastener from the inside of the receiver?

Its easyier then it seems

Take out the trigger mech pins and make sure the bolt is out of the gun. Then you should be able to wiggle the trigger mech forward and out.

My memory is foggy since I sold my Supernova and bought a Benelli M2 Tac...... So In failing this, take a 1/4" punch and slide it into the side of the stock nut "unscrew to the left" Only unscrew it untill you can wiggle the trigger mech out.

Hi Dsiwy,

Thanks a lot for the response. I'll give it a shot when I get home tonight.

Take care
