Watching with interest. The branded clickfunnel website is a little disconcerting, and the frame on the table mat display is different than the one he is demoing. At the price though, he just may be right about "what do you have to lose"? Thanks for sharing Danny45.

They look very similar to the Randolph Ranger frames. Hope someone chimes in with an honest opinion in regards to glass. At about $300 although not expensive is still money lost if I can't use them because of the glass quality

Not much on the net. Facebook page is only about 3 months old - no public posts - no reviews. On the other side, I haven't seen anything negative either.

thanks Rob for the research. I didn't turn up anything either. to answer your question [the spank] i haven't found anyone in Montreal that carries Randolph's. there is a store in Ottawa but they don't carry the Ranger line. i would jump on the deal you got.

Personally, I would avoid a RX lens in Polycarbonate.

Although it is not as shatter resistant, CR39 is a good option. Of course Trivex is THE stuff.

For non RX, poly is usually the way to go because it offers significantly more protection, with only a vary small chance of inclusions.

Ordered. There is only one frame available - but I like it. Only a few tints available but pretty much what I would have chosen elsewhere. Responses were quick and helpful. The business does seem pretty new - my invoice number is 276. I don't want to post actual prices because someone is going to be reading this years from now, but I will say I was shocked at how inexpensive AR was.

Until now, my shooting glasses have just been my everyday Rx glasses with polycarb lenses. The purpose of these is to find out how tints affect my ability to pick up the bird in different conditions and to get an idea what I like (or don't like) in shooting frames. These should meet both purposes very nicely and at reasonable cost.

I'll post more when they come in.

Rob!

Well, they arrived today. No surprises - as described - optics seem good. Fit is comfortable. I have a round booked for Friday morning. Hope the picture is a bit clearer this time.

So, I switched the picture above to one a bit clearer.

Got out for a round this morning. Used only the orange lens set. Wow!!! Yes, the orange birds are way more visible. No, it doesn't help a bit for black birds. Couldn't help but notice how much it highlighted everything from spruce cones to rose hips and white berries - almost spooky. :d While shooting, I was almost unaware that I was wearing them which I guess means decent optics, better field of view than my regular everyday Rx glasses, and very comfortable.

Shot my highest score on the course yet - not a great score but a personal best.

At this point, I am very happy with my purchase. I'll likely find something to gripe about sooner or later. Nothing yet.

Edited to add - Thanks for the Tip Danny45

I placed an order for a set yesterday. Got the vermillion, yellow and purple. Looking forward to giving them a try. Emailed back and forth with Gary a few times and spoke with him to confirm all the order details. Great guy to deal with.

Gary was using click funnel to keep prices down, but it hasn't been working well and lately has been down entirely. He's working on it and asks anyone interested to call or email him. PM me for contact information. Great guy with a great product at a great price. Just has a lousy website solution.

Rob!

I got his contact on his Facebook page. He can be found on ebay too. I was on his website a few months ago but as you know its down right now. He is however open for business

Just as an update, the winter is slower, but I probably have a dozen or so days and nearly 2000 rounds down the pipe using these. Very happy with them. I've used both the amber/orange (most days) and the purple when I expect to be staring into the sun on many stations. I have not yet found a use for the yellow ones. An excellent solution for prescription shooting lenses at a very reasonable cost.

Pilla? Maybe someday - if they'll sponsor me.
