Thought it was pretty neat so thought I would share.

In '44 Steyr was receiving most of it's receivers (at least the Heer issued ones) from the Radom facility in Poland, but when it was shut down due to the Soviet advance Steyr used what ever they could get. These last for a couple blocks and bcd's are pretty common, but the earlier ones aren't.

Thank you so much for some info on this! Such a wealth of knowledge on this forum.

Recently acquired a dot 43 , rc, in real nice shape as well. Nothing appeared to be peened.

I have a few of the vz 24, but thought I better pick up some of the k98 while one still can.
