Looking for some help with getting a new Timney Calvin Elite trigger installed into my Remington 700 5R. I have the new trigger in and believe I followed the instructions to the letter. What's happening is I can't get the bolt to go back in to test it out as the sear seems to be sitting a bit high as detailed in the pictures below...I can't get the bolt past the rear edge of the sear.
I also can't get the trigger to fire when switching from safe to fire....not sure if I should be able to or not...my previous trigger installs have been on 10/22 which were very simple.
Any thoughts or advice as to what the issue might be here?
