Durability of Norinco NP-22?

Does anyone have an educated idea on how long can NP-22 last? 5K? 10K? 25K? more? If you own one, how many rounds have you put thru yours so far, any problems?

I want to get one for myself but keep on hearing how bad aluminum Norincos are... it’s getting a little discouraging.…

I've put 3000 through mine and had absolutely no problems with it. Not a single failure to feed , fire or extract with all kinds of 9mm ammo.
I sold it to make room for a new toy and the new owner is also very happy with it. At 1/3 the price of the original you can't go wrong.

My gun frame cracked at the rails after 2,000 rds. talking to Lever and Marstar they both said they have had only a few returns out of a few thousand guns. Talked to others who have had no problems with theirs. I really liked it, and might consider another one later. The grips are junk, but the Hogues will fit nicely.
