Ordered Duracoat directly from manufacturer in the states about 5 yeras ago and shipping and handling charges were bloody outrageous...

Is there anyone in Canada that has supply ? ... alternatively, is there an alternative epoxy brand that a guy might be able to source in his own city through something like an autobody shop ?

And yes, the best alternative is Cerakote... but I don't have the ovens and Low volume low pressure sprayer ( I am working only with a quality airbrush over here), so please don't point that out.

I was going to recommend Arma-Coat but they seem to have vanished off the face of the planet.

I’ve used Duracoat. I’ve used Armacoat. Talked with the Armacoat guy - he’s been closed up for a couple years now. No source of Duracoat north of the 49th that I’ve been able to find. Another option is Cera-coat. They now have a “C series” that is an air cure, but same issue - nobody I can find north of the 49th sells it. Even talked with the boys at Black Box Customs, and they don’t (or aren’t allowed) to do retail.

I’m in exactly the same boat as you. I’ve ordered out of the states before and it costs an arm and a leg to get it up here. BUT! I need to get one or the other so I’m going to have to bite the bullet, and make the order. Just keep putting it off because I know it’s going to be pricey.

Never heard of Cerakote "C Series" until now. When I went to the Cerakote site, it must have detected my location as Canada. That is reasonable shipping. hmmm...
