Who has or knows anyone w/ a browning rifle that has dutatouch on it? Is it the real deal or a marketing ploy from the king of marketing? Anyone have a comparable finish on their rifle?

Isn't Duratouch just the rubbery overmold stuff on their stocks? It doesn't have anything to do with the metal finish if it's what you are asking.

I shoulderd one of there titaniums with the duratouch coating, very nice, really sticks to your hands, in a good way!! No checkering and no slippage. Too bad you can't buy it in a do it yourself.

ya, I'm talking about the stock coating. Not sure if it will last many seasons of HARD use. What do you guys think?

One of the architects that deals with the company I work for has a Winchester SX2 that he hunts duck with and he is not impressed with it at all; he said finish is peeling off and he has only had it for a year or two.

I have never heard of one peeling but I am certain that you could get it redone under warranty if it did. I have one and I really like it it is very tough and user friendly.

Redd, it's not the duratouch that makes your stock so dahm sticky, Darry DB had it out and spilled some MANaise on it...he really liked the smooth action.
