My first ever gun was a E.R Amantino .410 shotgun. I bought the gun brand new around 2002 for 85$. I can't seem to find any information on this particular gun anywhere. This is the information from the barrel.
Imported by Stoeger
Made by E.R Amantino
Made in Brazil.
IGA Gaucha .410
Plus serial number

Anyone have or know about this gun? If you type the info on Google it shows a stuby short barrel .410. mine is just a standard long barrel .410 single shot break action.

More like information directly on my gun. I can't find a website for the manufacturer.

Well, the company is called Boito ... and their website is available in Spanish (Portuguese?) only as far as I can tell .... (and my Spanish is lousy) ...

That might explain why your Google searches are not returning what you are looking for ....

Are you looking for something in particular? My friend knows the Boito rep in his state back in Brasil.

Hi I was wondering if Boito single shot 12ga 3” shotgun with full choke will effectively shoot steel shot? I contacted one of the business members and they responded that it will. But it doesn’t seem right. Modified choke should be fine but not full. Any idea on that?

Well - The issue is two fold. The full choked gun may be able to handle the stresses of steel shot. However, a full choke tends to "blow" the pattern, which is not good. Finally, I would think that a 3 inch duck load would be very unpleasant to shoot in a light single shot.

Check the prices of 5 TSS Turkey shells. 20 gauge are over $75 with tax. What a deal. I’m beginning to think it won’t be losing our guns but finding/affording the ammo to feed them.
