Eagle eye - new scopes from Russia. What do you think?

Eagle eye scopes is a combination of two
images of the target simultaneously. Scopes introduce a sector in which a
central part of the FOV is imposed magnified by 2.5 times into a lower part of the FOV. Thus, the shooter can examine
in detail an object arranged in the field of view centre and survey a wide space around the target

they offer few different models...most in Zeiss price range... the quality is very comparable too

Ive got an ijk eagle eye, 6_24x44 iluminated, with side wheel focus, not happy with it at all, seems cheap, price was 379$ retailer in the west

Russians has nothing in common with IJK. Two absolutely not related manufacturers and products. Russians coincidentally named their line of scopes the Eagle Eye.

My question was what do you think of double picture. Wide field of view and magnified part with focus on selected target.

I knew that the Russians were working on a scope that you could spy on your neighbours while you hunt, there may even be provision to report back to NKVD.

Its a neat concept but Zeiss money for a newcomer... I think it might be hard sell. Unless you get a show on WildTV. Right King Optics ? Right Quigley Ford ? Right Huskemaw ?

Also, some people might be worried about warranty, even if quality is up there. The IOR fiasco may have left a bad taste in some people's mouth.

Popularity would depend on price to start out. Bigger price tag will chase people back to the regular names, glass is a name game. Prove the product for a few years, and you can charge what the other players do.

Brilliant idea -- combines the advantages of a variable scope and a fixed power scope. The big question is quality.

Also, how long until a recognized manufacturer copies it. Probably a long time. I'll bet there are some cheap Chinese knockoffs out in a year or two. And some half decent Chinese knockoffs not long after.

Now this is awsome! If it would be under 500-600$ and I would not have just bought a burris ar-332 id be all over this! It a real nice concept now if it would have a variable magnification that would be beyon awsome 1x/3.5x to 3x/10.5x
