That is to much work in cleaning that many.

Not really when 6 guys are cleaning, so its only your 5 birds its no different shooting your limit anyother day.

Yeah, mainly only breast them out, sometimes take the legs aswell to do something with, but 2 from that picture yesterday were plucked as a gift to another fellow. Plus with all the breast meat you can make sausage or jerky or hamburger.

We roast more ducks through all plucked.

Hey Crazy Farmer,

Show us some pics of your completed blind. I saw you were building one a while ago. What did you finally name it?

Its only semi finished still. Still need to throw some more grass on it, and paint it some more but its pretty close to done for now. I'll take another picture as the grass has grown around it and theres a nice shrub growing on the backside and roof that'll blend in real well.

I'm located in southern bc, lower mainland, thats as specific as I get, sorry.

My buddy just sent me a text message that he got another 200 acres to hunt on and when he drove by today there were a couple hundred geese in that field.

We will be out before light on Saturday :D:ar15:

Hey Crazy Farmer Nice job. When I first saw the picture, I thought you must have been hunting out of province as I thought our season didn't open until the 12th. Then I looked at the regs . My 12 yr old saw the regs and decided that since geese were open and there were some in a neighbours field that morning, I should get my migratory permit.
During evening milking he comes in and tells me that the geese have returned to the field. So after milking I took him to where I thought they would fly over upon leaving and waited. At 7;30 the first group came right over us and when I told him to shoot, a big goose folded up and landed 30 feet behind us. He missed on his second shot but as more geese were flying around, another flock came by at about 20 yards and he dropped another one. He was very happy as they were his first geese and the first time using an 870 Express that I bought on the exchange earlier this summer. I can just hear the bragging going on at school today.
