Early No 1 mk 3 Magazine - feed lip shape?

Hey guys

Can someone post a photo of what the feed lips on the early version of the No1mk3 magazine are supposed to look like? The one I'm talking about has the spring steel lips that are separate parts attached to the mag body.

I'm cleaning my buddies Parker Hale sporter rifle and he's having some feeding issues, and the forward mag lips seem to be the issue, they're bent practically flat But, I'm not sure what they are supposed to look like and don't want to mess up his mag even worse.

How early No1 mk3? I have SMLE 1916 and using a mag for No4 mk1. No problem with feeding.

I think your mag description is not for a no1 mk3 , but a long lee or lee metford mag.

Tude what is the number stamped at the bottom of the spline on the rear of the mag box?

If you type "No1 Mk3 magazine" into google and choose images, there are..... lots.

I believe you are talking about a 3rd variation mag, used for the Mk VII cartridge.
No idea if it would be appropriate for a Parker Hale sporter but here's a couple of pics of one.
Also i cant guaranty you the lips are bent the right way as i dont remember firing with the rifle it is on.
