Or you could punch the axis pin out and put the sight alone in an ultrasonic cleaner with a good strong degreaser. Heat it up to get all the moisture out of the cracks and crevices and then spray well with WD40 or G96. Rifle looks to be in decent shape. Does it have "HG" and then a number on the barrel?
