Easiest to Load Shotgun

Yeppers.............easy to load.

But they always seem to have problems when it comes to the FIRING part of the equation.

you got that rite but that problem is a very easy fix had that problem with mine when i first got it but looking at it its kinda a poor design how they mounted the mag tube (not actually a mag tube i guess its there for the slide bar assembly to ride on) if you look closly they mounted it with cross pins this causees it to bend downwards and in effect causes the barrel to droop .there fore the locking lug wont engage into the receiver part of the barrel causing it not to fire ,all i did was got it alligned properly so everything was in order and silver soldered it in place have never had a problem since fires everytime i pull the trigger now

I used to have a Valtro PM5 that was really easy to load. Even the mags were gentle on the thumbs.

I actually use a single shot now. I bring it gopher hunting and I always do well with it. I bought one of those vests with the big pockets and I just throw 20 or so shells in there.

A nice 20 ga sxs or superposed would be a dream though. Especialy if it had ejectors!

What is the easiest to load shotgun?

I would like clarification on the question. I know it seems simple enough, but do you mean load, reload, or cycle?

Simply loading, I say a break barrel shot gun. You can have loose shells in your hand one second and 3 seconds later, (if the gun is unloaded) you already have a solid weld to the cheek and you are a VERY dangerous fellow....

Reloading - if the break barrel has an ejector option, then its pretty fast still but if not, pulling the shells out really slows you down. (I hate that about my Double Defense). With my Browning Superposed, ejecting the shells over your shoulder when reloading is almost as fun as the shooting. That said, I would likely give the edge to the standard pump style guns.

As for cycling, my Dad could cycle his Model 12 faster and more accurately than any semi that I've ever seen, so I guess that comes down to personal feel and practice.

I have to say though... I'm curious... WHY do you ask? Shotgun shells are fairly large and easy to handle. It's not like trying to put loose 22LR into a tube or anything. They are all quite easy to load in my opinion.

The Neostead 2000 is very easy to load and oh what a load :) The mag tubes break open just like a side by side shotgun, you can stuff 6 in each tube.

Browning Twelvette.

Drop one in the open bolt, poke the other in the side to drop the bolt. Two shots, zero effort. By far, the easiest I've ever used.

Downfall is, it's a semi that only holds 2.
