Thanks Omen...........

We are really looking forward to having a great match.

I am trying to put a positive face on IPSC in general and IPSC Ontario to be specific.

The roots of the match go back to my daughter "Trinity Angel" here who was in Drama Class this past year. She said the school was in need of money to buy new lighting equipment for the Drama Department. It was like the proverbial lightbulb......
I suggested an IPSC charity match......

EESA has great ranges but few Range Officer and few helpers. This event will leverage the strengths of both. The kids will provide the LABOUR while being supervised by experienced helpers and Range Officers.

What we really need are RANGE OFFICERS!!!!

So if you can make it out for this event please contact me directly.

There will be the standard price reductions for those helping run this match.

The match Theme is based on Shakespear!! So brush off those Thees and Thous!

The hope is to have enogh kids on each range to do all the patching and target setting ( did I mention all the steel targets we built??). The shooters need only shoot and watch!!

How to get to EESA from East of London
1. Get to exit 208 on the 401 this is “Putnam Road” and is just before a set of truck Weigh scales

2. The exit ends at a stop sign. Turn RIGHT (south) onto Putnam Road.

3. You will pass back under the 401

4. You will pass through the hamlet of “Crampton” then the village of “Avon”.

5. You will eventually come to a stop sign at “Lyons Line” which is Cty. Rd 48. Go STRAIGHT after this stop sign.

6. You will come to a Staggered Tee intersection at Cty Rd 52 “Ron Mc Neil Line. Turn RIGHT (West).

7. You will then enter the village of Springfield. ( my home town)

8. As you enter Springfield, look for the Springfield Public School on your Right. As soon as you see it turn LEFT onto Cty. Rd 40 “Springfield Rd.

9. You will cross an intersection at College Line.

10. You will cross a rail road crossing.

11. You will come to a TEE intersection at “Glen Colin Line” Turn LEFT onto Glen Colin.

12. Right after the turn you will go over a small bridge over a creek.

13. Once over the bridge take the immediate Right turn. This is Springfield Road again.

14. EESA is 1.5 Km down Springfield Road on your left side.
Elapsed time from 401 is 15 to 20 minutes

How about self-ROing squads, with a CRO and a bunch ROs in each squad, kinda like the big matches on the east coast (NS provincials, Summer Slam, etc). ?

Storm,

You can count me in for CRO (as I assume you have already done.) I am going to work on Enshooter and see if he would like to CRO as well. I am hoping on him bringing his trailer up for the weekend and make a party of it. I guess I should talk to him about it before I go posting this but Oh well.
Is there a place to park a trailer/camper if need be?

I will let you know right after the Provincials as Enshooter and I are heading up there together.

Cheers Eh?

You can park a trailer at EESA or barring that on my side yard.

EESA is actually planning on building a few campiong spaces in the near future...

PS>...of course I was counting on you. If you can beirn in Enshooter as well.....ALL THE BETTER!
