Hey great to be on Gunnutz --- I am in my early 60's and been shooting since I was a kid. Growing up in SW Ontario in tobacco country I did a lot of small game hunting with my Cooey .410. It even served me well jump shooting Wood ducks from irrigation ponds. I lot of hunting has happened since those days and I now enjoy the shooting sports with my 5 sons and 3 grandsons ( of my 4 grand daughters one is showing interest.) A number of years ago I began tinkering with guns and restoring old barn finds. Refinishing and refurbishing guns has become an addictive hobby. Never met a gun I didn't like but I am still partial to walnut and steel. Vintage shotguns are my favourite and I try to get them all to our family regulation sized trap range. Remington 1100's are my soft spot they are just so darn awesome. I do shoot rifles as well --- my wife gave me a beautiful Wetherby Vanguard ( walnut and steel) in .223 for 60th. Its fun to shoot off the bench and I am chasing the elusive .5" group -- it will do .75 all day but I need to upgrade the scope and my ammo to meet my goal. At the end of the day the gun shoots better than I do.

Regards
