If your shotgun has a magazine tube nut, it is a pretty simple deal to make one of these. An angle bracket and a 1" hole and you are in business.

Can't wait to try this!

I haven't tortured it yet, but people do some amazing things with them.

They use them a lot on Mythbusters. I'll bet they destroy the odd one though. LOL

I'm going to take it on a turkey hunt this spring. :D I'll have to take it out and call a coyote into shotgun range for a test first. :)

I like the idea!
I use the handlebar mount on my shotgun and varmint barrels, but your idea is more symmetrical to the line of sight. Nicely done!

Remember the kick back will kick the camera back no matter how tight you think it is. unless you have an extra piece to stop that.

There is a guy selling shotgun kits like this and he has something simple to stop the camera kick back. Check it it for an idea.

It's like a washer type piece you put in before screwing the gopro housing to the mount.

I know. I was gping to order the mount from them. It was $29 or something. They lost me at $26 more for shipping, so I made it myself. The other ppiece is next. :)

Nope, there's a simple setting to record upside down on gopros. Fair question tho!

Thanks, I will read up on it, I have 2 of them but have only used them a couple times last year. MAYBE I can buy the double camera box and shoot ducks in 3-D ;) Now that I say that, I remember reading about the 3-D option and having to load one camera upside down in the double box and flip the recording some how...hmmmm.....
