Had to drop by DS Tactical today and pick up the Eberlestock Sniper Sled drag bag they had set aside for me.
What an awesome bag!!The outer 3 pouches attach via Molle webbing and can be removed/moved, or different pouches added.
The middle pouch is like an admin pouch that had lots of interior pockets and pouches.also has 2 exterior pouches on each end that will hold pistol mags, multi-tools, or even a Kestral weather meter.
The zipper pulls are large enough to get a gloved finger in to open.
Inside the bag there are 3 padded retaining straps and a large pocket for the rifle butt stock to sit in.The rifle is very secure.
There is a padded flap that folds over to protect your rifle and large interior mesh pockets on the opposite side of the case along with more Molle web to attach other pouches. With the interior flap fold all the way open, the bag can double as a shooting mat.
The back pack straps and waist belt are well thought out and can be configured to use a muzzle up or muzzle down carry. The straps can also be removed if not required.
The bag also fits perfectly in my Starlight hard case.Just have to remove the foam from the case.
The Arktis drag bag I had was a good bag and served me well, but the Eberlestock Sniper Sled is a pretty good step up!!
This bag is on the expensive side at roughly $450.00 Cdn, but that is peanuts when you want to carry and protect a $6000.00+ rifle/scope.
