Hi im looking to put a tuner brake on my 338 win mag hunting rifle, the Next generation tuner seems to be the only one that's available in that bore dimension. Would that tuner work on a normal hunting rifle barrel?

Depending on your barrel diameter you would have two options to make that tuner brake work. First option if you barrel is large enough at the muzzle you can have it threaded for 5/8-24 and just screw the brake on. The second option is if the barrel is a smaller diameter you can thread it for 1/2-28 and thread on a shouldered thread adapter to convert it to 5/8-24 threads.
