On another thread someone had mentioned taking a reloading course at P&D. I contacted them, but have been informed that they no longer offer that course. Just wondering if there is any other courses in the area?

I know sherwood park fish and game was doing a reloading demo for members. Check with your club/range to see what they offer.

To be honest, reloading isn't rocket surgery. I got started on my own without any instruction/mentorship/formal course. Just read the books/manual, watch some youtube vids and start slow. Also, check out the reloading forum as there is some good info there too.

Well, I have been planning on getting a small reloading station set up at the Edmonton New Technology Society, with the intent of helping new people and those without the space for a bench of their own. I plan to buy one of the Lee Anniversary kits, with a few other pieces as well, and setting up a small bench. Just bring your own consumables. That way interested people could either get a membership for full access to all the ENTS equipment, or maybe just pay a drop-in fee.

It's not quite done yet, but I hope to have it put together by the end of June.

As stated above basic reloading is easy, as long as you can read, use a scale, and read a caliper.

All reloading manuals contain detailed step by step process.

Just set up a neat tidy quiet space, free from any distractions, dont rush, double check your primers are seated below flush, and check all cases for powder level b4 seating.
