I would never take anything to lock and load. My brother dropped off a pistol there, 6 months later, the liar there hadnt touched it, and kept putting him off, telling him it was almost done.

Lock and load. The owner does not even work on the stuff he gives it to one of his redneck buddys. That seems to be sitting in his store all day talking about hick guns...Loooooosers!!!

Exactly. Had a 1911 that I wanted a trigger job/feed ramp polish done on. I called after the 3 month mark and was told he was waiting for a hard to find part. I asked what the part was and I laughed on the phone and told him I have one at home in my spare parts bin. I took the part in the next day (sear) and called him one week later and was told he was still working on it.

To make a long story short it took 17 months from the time I walked in the door till I had it back and to top it off the magazine that I left with it was gone. Asked for it back and was told it wasn't dropped off with one. So I asked then how the hell did he do a function test after he did the feed ramp polish then.

Never again.

KS isn't any better. Dropped off a rifle to have it cut from 24" to 20" to get rid of a bad crown and I wanted it shorter anyway. Was quoted 130.00 for the job and 1 week. 4 weeks later I showed up to get the rifle and the bill was 380.00. "They had a hard time attaching the front sight afterwords." I went nuts and finally paid 150.00 for the job and told them that I would never visit his monkey shop again.

I could have done your trigger if its a milspec 1911..... KS did the same thing to me went it to have a front sight welded on told me 50 bux I handed him the sight came back and my front sight was a factory not the fiber optic I dropped off .. like I stated ship it out. .. bashaw is good to

I still have a hate on for the A ---- that used to own premier firearms ,they had my norinco .45 slide for nearly a year and then went out of buisness without giving it back.

It's so easy to hate gunsmiths
and fun too.

We are in edmonton and could help you out. We offer a variety of finishing services for all types of firearm. We also have a 1 week or less finishing time frame policy. Just give us a call and we can quote you a price on what you need done.

Bob Galloway at Custom Gunworx will blast and Ceracoat it for you. This is an excellent rust resistant and classy looking finish. pm me for ph#

Why would he work on the guns himself? He would never have time to deal with the store! The owner never claimed to be a gunsmith, but that he has a gunsmith that works there. Also, the gunsmith there is not one of his 'redneck buddies,' but happens to be an excellent 'smith that, unfortunately, has a motivation problem. I've dealt with them far more than you have, and have lots and lots of successful gun projects finished there. Don't base your opinions on one incident (that didn't even happen to you!) and then spout off your ill-informed poison, or you are just like Wendy!

I didn't like the constant lying that I was told. If they are having problems with a project then tell me that and it will take more time, no problem. To be lied to constantly for 1 1/2 years was unforgivable.

About 2 years ago I broke a nipple on my 1858 reproduction revolver and brought the cylinder in to see if they had a replacement nipple. Dropped it off and was told that the smith will look at it when he gets in. This was a Tuesday. On Friday I stopped in and Blair forgot about it and it was still sitting on the shelf. Promised again to have it looked at and so I left.

So 2 weeks go by and I stop in there on Thursday evening and the cylinder is still there on the shelf.

He grabs the cylinder and pulls out this old tin box with 50 different nipples in it and says "I wonder if there is one in here". He was to busy talking to his "Norm" buddies. (Always the same guys in there everytime I go). So I sit down on the seat and go thru each one and sure enough there was one. I paid him and left.

I go in there to renew my CHAS once a year if I cant get to a meeting other than that I choose not to.
