Is there anyone that hunts coyotes around the River Cree Casino area ? that would like some company for a set or two ? between Feb 13 -14

I guess I can not hunt coyotes as a Non Res Canadian Right ?
 
You will need to travel a ways. The area immediately adjacent is Reserve land, so off limits. Also all the land north of the North Sask. River for quite a ways north and west is the Edmonton bow zone.
 
I live 5 minutes south of the Casino, I see and hear coyotes every night. The county of Parkland has a long rifle restriction for hunting and shooting, so unless they are on your property you cannot shoot them unless they are a threat to your animals, livestock, or family safety. There used to be a complete ban on discharge of firearms until it went to court and the county lost.
 
I know a couple of non citizens who come here just to coyote hunt in the winter, one from England and one from Italy. If it's legal to discharge firearms (think landowners permission) no one here cares if you shoot coyotes. They're varmints, most farmers like it if you kill them, long as you respect their property. - dan
 
the 248 bow zone only pertains to big game, however you still have to abide by each county and their firearms discharge bylaws. some (like strathcona county) have certain no shooting zones.
