hey all just found this site today and had to sign up
curently on the prowl for an ecconomical 30-06 for the up coming hunting season.
drew for a cow elk in my WMU of choice so need smthing with a bit more punch than the .243 I shoot for deer and 'yotes if anyone knows of somthing. let me know plz and thanks
 
Hello and welcome. Hope you find the rifle you need. For what it's worth, years ago, living in Oregon, I took an elk with a Savage .250-3000 at something a bit less than 100 yards. Bigger bullets make bigger holes, though. Good luck with it.
