Edmonton Machinists??

I have just purchased a BridgeMill http://www.shoptask.com/ combination lathe/mill, but have no experience with machining. NAIT isn't in any big rush to provide courses to the general public because they are so busy with the apprenticeship programes.
I am wondering if there's a CGN member in Edmonton that would be willing to provide a little coaching to a guy that wants to learn how to do some basic machine work with this intersting tool.

Dad's a machinist.... I can talk to him, but it might cost you. Dad even charges me for machine work

I'm not a machineist but have a basic knowledge, took shop in highschool for 3 years ran the lathe, milling machines, metal bender, and foundry.

I also have a copy of the Machinist Handbook,

I dig around and see what else I have here for manuals
