Hello all, I have "signed up" to get into the EE, but I have not heard anything back. I was wondering if there is some sort of "secret hand shake" needed?!

what bosley says is about right...further down the forum there's a 2 page thread about it. everyone here is a volunteer, so most of their time is dedicated elsewhere. I've also requested membership for the EE forums and have yet to hear back. I'm not to worried...I've learned patience is an excellent virtue!
on the other hand, I'm kinda surprised that despite my 6 or so posts I've made since I joined yesterday, my post count still shows as zero...

Posts in OT and intro do not count to your post count...
Not sure why they do not include intro but hey that is reality.
