What is it with my 3 gun matches!!

WHAT IS IT???!!!!

Why do I always end up with wet feet!!

Friday while setting up it was HOT as hell!

Today..........showers,....Sun.....Showers.....Sun.

I hope tomorrow is dry!

:D Well rain or not, it was a great match. I thoroughly enjoyed the stages and all invoved in putting this match together should be congradulated.

I was my first 3-gun IPSC match and I had so much fun. Thanks to Alex S. for lending me his Z-M AR15 and his shotgun. I am hooked. Every IPSC shooter should try the 3 gun.

This is also the first time the "London Ride for Dad" was the same weekend and the first time I was ever rained on during the ride. Next year I will argue with you if it is going to be the same weekend. :evil:

Well..............it was on and off showers today but nothing near what we had yesterday.

Things actually ran a bit ahead of schedule!

Trinity Angel and my wife have already entered all the data. I am just reviewing it for any discrepencies...

Should have them submitted tomorrow.

Thanks to all who came out to shoot and more importantly those who came out to help!
 
Sorry I couldnt come out to help tear down. I was feeling like #### all day long. Glad to hear it went well!

reviewing your post - maybe all the prancing around in the SUN (fri) got the Raingods thinking stormbringer was trying to do a rain dance and obliged him???? Maybe a name change???? how about SAHARA DESERT at least for match dates????

Thanx Storm & EESA gang for another great match. Luckily, barely any rain during our morning slot. Fun to shoot and challenging stages.

It was so much better & fun to shoot 10 rnds out of my AR :runaway:

That second stage on the shotgun range was fantastic :shotgun: (as were all the rest of the stages)

It's nice to see the 3 gun matches starting to catch on in IPSC Ontario (thanks to all the hard work we've been seeing from EESA and Barrie)

I think of all the groups, our group got the least rain. Starting on shotgun we stayed mostly dry. By the time the heavens opened up we were safely inside on the handgun range.

What a fun match to use as my BB qualifier and as my first 3 gun. Thanks Storm. Also, thanks to 2 Filthy for the loan of equipment.

Quigley...........I loved that SG stage as well. Too bad I jammed bad on it!! ARGH! If anyone has any video or pics of my latest invention "frangile swingers" please send them or post them.

Well sadly once again I was too busy R/Oing to take pics

But here are two that Tom took of Stage 1 on the rifle range.

"Gopher it" It also shows are latest and I hope final wall design. Light, portable, wind proof, durable. what more could you want.

yeah nice shoot... my buddy managed to almost destry my shottie, letting the follower bolt go free and launching the barrel and spring and follower off into space..luckily I got it rebuilt.

Was a great shoot.

Is there a wait list to get into Elgin? Can you shoot 24hours a day? or only indoors?

Do you think youll have any rifle or shotgun only IPSC matches in the future?
 
wait list to join?? LOL! Nope.

I think that our max membership should be around 500 or so.

Right now we are in the mid 300s.

We are 24/7 indoors

Outdoors if you can see your target safely you are good to go

We have IPSC 3 gun matches only once a year. They are very difficult to manage.....but I will reserve that for another thread.
 
Waiting list to join (snicker...). Yah there is, to get to the front of it, you must send both me and John a Tavor or an AR15. Otherwise, see you in 5 years.

Kidding, Kidding. Just pay your money and you get to shoot! Pretty darn simple if you ask me!
